Our presenters include co-convener of the VizMat initiative, AMCS Associate Director Heidi Kolk, and Associate Professor of Art Tim Portlock. Participants will discuss the introduction to Heidi’s book manuscript, Taking Possession: Life, Death and the Politics of Memory in a St. Louis Row House, a study of St. Louis’ Campbell House, and Tim's artistic practice, which engages contemporary urban landscapes through digital representations that draw on the conventions of Hudson River School painting.
