AMCS Harvey Scholar Seminar

AMERICAN CULTURE STUDIES 450B

Our community activity will center around mindful considerations of our work and our influences and sharing our research and writing experiences related to senior year thesis work and Harvey Scholar projects. We will share and discuss crucial essays that inform an emerging academic imaginary, that drive your researching agendas, and that profoundly shape an understanding of the cultural world outside the university. Assignments will culminate in a reader for future AMCS majors and minors that catalogs these important essays and accompanying reflections as primers for studying culture in multidisciplinary fashion and rigor. Permission of Program required for participation. Students place themselves on the waitlist and will be manually enrolled.
