Americanist Dinner Forum "Doc Du Jour" with Sarah Flores
"Document Du Jour" Dinner Forum is an opportunity for an AMCS graduate student to present an intriguing or puzzling document or artifact from their dissertation research - one that will be of wide interest to Americanists across disciplinary lines - and to puzzle through it with colleagues.
This semester's presenter is Sarah Flores.
Sara Flores studies multiethnic American literature. Her dissertation traces religion’s impact on the development of U.S.-based Latine/x literature since the late nineteenth century.
She is particularly interested in how religion and ethnicity shape an individual’s identity and how writers depict religious experiences in coming-of-age novels.
