Canceled - Americanist Dinner Forum: Leonard Cassuto Guest

This month's presenter will be Leonard Cassuto, English Professor at Fordham University.  Professor Cassuto's research includes American literature and culture, nineteenth-century African American literature, disability studies, creative writing, and American higher education.  His latest book, The Graduate School Mess: What Caused It and How We Can Fix It, gets to the root of the problems with graduate school and offers concrete solutions for revitalizing graduate education in the humanities.

RSVPs are due to Terri Behr by Friday, March 20th.

The Americanist Dinner Fora are the flagship intellectual event for the AMCS community. Each month features a new set of speakers exploring a topic relevant to American Studies through the medium of a selected reading. The reading will be circulated the week prior. AMCS PhD Certificate students are expected to attend each of the fora, and AMCS MA students and AMCS Faculty are strongly encouraged to attend.
