STL in AMCS

The program in American Culture Studies is launching a new initiative building pathways between the communities of St. Louis and the university that enriches what is known about the city, its history, and its cultural participants. This blended engagement prioritizies the communities of St. Louis as people and places to learn from and to partner with so that, collectively, new histories and new ways to see and understand the region emerge. This is a multiyear collaboration among students, faculty, and staff at Washington University partnering with the cultural, community, and non-profit institutions and organizations that help define what it means to be in and from this city.
