Michael R. Allen, AMCS lecturer and director of the National Building Arts Center (NBAC) in Sauget, has curated a new architectural exhibition at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation with Weissberg and Molly Moog. According to the Pulitzer, Urban Archaeology displays architectural artifacts from former St. Louis landmarks constructed between 1840-1955 to "[shed] light on the city’s history, revealing complicated legacies of power, wealth, and neglect.” This is the most extensive public presentation of NBAC's collection.
Urban Archaeology: Lost Buildings of St. Louis will be on display through Feb. 4, 2024 at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation. Admission is free.
